Dante H. Plata After serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict, Dante H. Plata turned to photography in 2004 as a way to navigate life’s sorrows and fears. Whether he is capturing the raw energy ofthe streets in Bogotá or the quiet blooming of a flower in his garden, his goal remains the same: to find the beauty around him.
